What is MILID WEEK 2012 BARCELONA?

MAY 22 -25, 2012, UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA DE BARCELONA (SPAIN) 

MILID WEEK is a space to promote contact and cooperation between international organizations, associations, NGOs, universities, media, research groups, researchers, teachers, and students from around the world working in media literacy and information and intercultural dialogue. 

MILID WEEK is promoted and organized by the UNITWIN Cooperation on Media and Information Programme Literacy (UNESCO / United Nations Alliance of Civilizations) which integrates eight universities from all continents. MILID WEEK wants to revitalize and strengthen key media literacy initiatives, promoting direct cooperation among the protagonists. 

MILID WEEK is organized as a workshop that includes: 

· MILID DEBATES: A space for discussion and exchange of experiences among experts. 

· MILID RESEARCH: A space for the presentation of prominent research. Experiences, initiatives, projects and research results will be welcome in this space. 

· MILID PARTNERS MEETING: Annual Meeting of UNITWN Cooperation Programme on Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue.
